“Aadujeevitham – The Goat Life,” featuring Prithviraj Sukumaran, has surpassed the Rs 150-crore mark at the global box office, as announced by the actor on Sunday. Directed by Blessy, the survival drama hit theaters on March 28.

Prithviraj took to social media to share the film’s latest box office numbers, expressing gratitude for the overwhelming love and support. ” #TheGoatLife is conquering new heights! Making waves across the world. Grateful for your unwavering love and support!” he wrote.

Based on Benyamin’s 2008 novel of the same name, The Goat Life tells the true story of Najeeb, a Malayali immigrant laborer who becomes enslaved as a goatherd in the Middle East. The film’s ensemble cast includes Amala Paul, KR Gokul, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Talib al Balushi, and RikAby.

The Goat Life’s success stands out as Bollywood films struggle at the box office. Recent releases like Do Aur Do Pyaar and Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2 have yet to gain traction. Do Aur Do Pyaar, a romantic comedy starring Vidya Balan and Pratik Gandhi, earned Rs 2.6 crore nett in three days, while Dibakar Banerjee’s film on relationships in the digital age brought in Rs 0.8 crore nett.

Meanwhile, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, collected only Rs 4.25 crore nett over the weekend, bringing its 11-day total in India to Rs 55.5 crore nett.

Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan, also releasing on April 11, earned an additional Rs 5.9 crore over the weekend, bringing the sports drama’s total collection to Rs 35.7 crore nett.
