Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra criticized the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh following the tragic discovery of a woman civil judge found hanging in her quarters. In a scathing post on X (previously twitter)/@priyankagandhi, Priyanka expressed concern about the safety of woman in the state, wondering about the fear ordinary girls must endure.

A murder case has been registered against unidentified individuals in the death of the judge in Budaun district, based on a complaint filed by her father, a police officer confirmed on Sunday. Priyanka Gandhi highlighted another recent incident in Banda, where a woman judge sought euthanasia, emphasizing the severity of the situation.

The family of the deceased judge has raised serious questions about the investigation into her death, raising doubts about the security of woman judges under the BJP rule, said the Congress general secretary. She urged readers to consider the daily fears faced by ordinary girls if woman judges are not safe.
