Friends Murder Man Over Rejected ‘Sexual Favors,’ Dump Body in Pond

A 40-year-old man was brutally murdered and left in a dry pond in Baran district nine days ago, allegedly by two friends, after he refused to engage in oral sex. Baran Superintendent of Police Raj Kumar Choudhary reported that the victim, Om Prakash Bairwa, was discovered dead in the Baran city police station area on February 26.

Following technical investigation and inquiries, the police identified the two suspects, Murlidhar Prajapati (32) and Surendra Yadav, both residents of Baran city. Prajapati has been arrested, while Yadav is hospitalized under police guard for ingesting a poisonous substance to evade arrest.

During initial interrogation, Prajapati confessed to the murder. SP Choudhary revealed that on the day of the incident, Prajapati, Yadav, and Bairwa consumed alcohol together and visited a nearby village to see Prajapati’s sister. On their way back, the assailants attacked and hacked Bairwa to death, allegedly in retaliation for his refusal to engage in oral sex with them. Prajapati operated a roadside dhaba, while Yadav worked as a daily wage laborer, according to Baran city police station SHO Ramvilas.
