Bihar on Path to Becoming a Medical Hub, Says JP Nadda
On his visit to Bihar, BJP President and Union Health Minister JP Nadda praised Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for his remarkable work in transforming the state. During a public event, Nadda emphasized that Nitish has not only changed the face of Bihar but has also made historic contributions to the healthcare sector.
Nadda spoke at the foundation stone-laying ceremony of an eye hospital at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) in Patna. In the presence of Nitish Kumar and other state ministers, Nadda called on the people to support leaders who work hard and ensure that those who don’t work are shown the door.
Bihar to Become a Medical Hub
JP Nadda highlighted that Bihar, especially Patna, is on its way to becoming a medical hub. He announced that the AIIMS in Darbhanga is progressing well and will be completed soon. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to inaugurate the facility. Nadda is scheduled to visit the construction site of Darbhanga AIIMS on Saturday to review its progress.

He also shared plans to open 200-bed superspecialty hospitals in Bhagalpur and Gaya, which he will inaugurate during his visit. After these events, Nadda will hold a meeting with Bihar BJP leaders at the party office.
Praises for Nitish’s Work in Healthcare
Throughout the event, Nadda showered praise on Nitish Kumar’s leadership, particularly in improving Bihar’s healthcare infrastructure. He mentioned that the Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH) is being restored to its former glory and is set to become one of the largest hospitals in the world.
Without naming anyone specifically, Nadda also criticized the opposition, accusing them of dividing people and not focusing on real development. He urged the public to support leaders like Nitish Kumar, who have worked to uplift the state.
With these comments, JP Nadda made it clear that the BJP views Nitish Kumar as a key figure in Bihar’s progress, particularly in the healthcare sector, and is counting on his leadership to bring more development to the state.
