Itanagar: Significant development move, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju inaugurated multiple projects in Kra Daadi district on Saturday. Addressing a gathering at Gangte, the Minister for Earth Sciences highlighted the substantial progress witnessed in the remote areas of the state over the past decade.

The inauguration ceremony included five key projects executed by the Public Works Department, contributing to the infrastructural upliftment of the region. These projects encompass the construction of infrastructure for Gangte Government Upper Primary School, estimated at Rs. 5 crore, an inspection bungalow at Gangte costing Rs. 2.5 crore, a ground at Rai Balo Government Secondary School with a budget of Rs. 1 crore, a multipurpose community hall at Dambu Happa village amounting to Rs. 4 crore, and the establishment of two badminton courts at Chambang town at a cost of Rs. 1.5 crore.

Minister Rijiju expressed the government’s unwavering commitment to providing LPG connections to every household. Additionally, he assured that all villages in the state would achieve 100 per cent mobile connectivity in the coming months.

This initiative marks a significant step towards fostering development and connectivity in the region, enhancing the overall quality of life for the residents.
