Suhani Bhatnagar, Known for Portraying Young ‘Babita Phogat’ in Dangal, dies at the age of 19

New Delhi: Suhani Bhatnagar, who played the role of young Babita Phogat in Aamir Khan’s critically acclaimed film Dangal, has passed away. She was 19. The actress left for her heavenly abode on Saturday (February 17) in Delhi. The news of her demise has sent shockwaves across the industry.

The news about Suhani’s death spread like wildfire on the internet, leaving everyone shocked. Her family is yet to release an official statement about her death. According to a report in Dainik Jagran, 19-year-old suffered a leg fracture following which she took medication. However, the medication that she consumed during her treatment had adverse effects and deteriorated her health condition.

The reason behind her death has been attributed to the retention of fluid in the body. The report said that her body started retaining fluid, which caused her demise.

The actress was undergoing treatment at AIIMS in Delhi for an extended period. While her family members have not confirmed her funeral date and timings, reports suggest that the last rites will be conducted on Saturday in Faridabad.
